Sunshine Yellow

I love bright colors and prints, so when I saw this fabric, I couldn't resist making a dress with it. I wore this dress the other day with a pink sash, but today I felt like I liked the red better. There isn't actually any true red in the print of the fabric, but there are multiple shades of pink, orange and maroon, so it works pretty well. It is incredibly windy here today- you can see in the picture that my dress and hair are blowing all over the place. Because of this, I had to cut my photo session short a little bit and I didn't have an opportunity to take a close-up shot of the detail on my left shoulder. I stitched a small cluster of pink buttons and I like how it turned out. They are the perfect shade of pink that doesn't stand out too much from the pink in the fabric, so you almost have to be looking for them to even notice them.

What do you think of the lastest "Bouchard Original?" If you like what you see, or any of my creations, you can visit my Etsy shop to place an order. Thanks for reading and have a fabulous Saturday!
